Rendering reality

Have you ever been to a place.

You see it.
You feel it.
You experiance it.

It’s all right there.

But like a dream it slowly fades from memory.

Time pass, but the memory of that place suddenly occupies your mind.Maybe your walking down a lonely street at night. Maybe the thought strikes in the middle of a conversation.

You think to yourself

“- what is going on at that place right now, just at this moment.”

You freeze time, trying to envision that place.

The hour is late. You try to picture the scene. It is dark. You envision the trees, the rolling terrain. The sounds and smell of a forest.

The silence.

Raindrops fall to the ground, breaking at the surface. You imagine, treading carefully over dry moss. The sun breaking through clouds. A tree abruptly falling.

The ground, the bark, the dirt. Wet after rainfall.

Does it really exist? What is the reality of this place at this exact time?

Maybe nothing. Maybe it’s just as when you left.

Maybe it’s just the wind dancing in the forest, through schrubs and trees.

Maybe the reality only exists through the rendering of my mind.
