6 Weeks and over 6000km covered.
San Fransisco, Seattle, Portland, Reno, Vancouver, Lake Tahoe, Mt Baker, Mt Bachelor, Whistler, Big White, Revelstoke. A journey that passed through the conveniences of city life, the lesser sights of urban living, solitude of open roads and the greatness that nature has to offer.
First chairs has been ridden, mountains climbed and deep powder has been shredded.
There are many aspects that makes snowboarding unique. But the beauty may not always lie in riding the craziest lines or experiencing the most epic conditions.
There is often a lot of talk about epic conditions, extreme rides and destinations. And together with the overconsumption of instagram and epic movies - the wellknown feeling of performance and high expectations can become more present than ever.
Even though we at heart ride because of the passion for the sport and lifestyle, the sometimes overwhelming expectation of a grand epic winter is always lurking in the back of our head.
For me the true beauty lies in the adventures exploration that snowboarding presents and sharing these experiences with friends.
