Everlasting motion is a personal project about life. It’s is an exploration of everyday life that always moves and varies in how it is perceived. Taking a genuine interest in the way life is in everlasting motion has a lot value for me. Like in a movie, every scene that plays out has its purpose and meaning, but there seems to be no universal truth. That is why we all try to figure out how to cope with the complexity of life.
By tapping in to the mundane reality in front of us works there’s at least some sort of tool for guidance.
The passage between youth and adulthood revolves around discovery, both of beauty and misery. Through my black and white photography I visualise order and chaos that are always entwined. The images are shot in an intuitive and loose way so the path of life can be seen as to walk on the border in between the two.
We are all on the journey of life, our defining experiences differ greatly.
Unexpectancy, lack of control can make things seem lost - but new order and insight can also emerge so our search for purpose and understanding gives us the similarities that connect us.
